Accommodations

We have some rooms blocked off at the John Carver Inn & Spa for $161 on Thursday and $179 on Friday, Saturday. You have to reserve all three nights for the rate, so the total (including tax) comes to $584.22. You can cancel for a full refund up until July 10th. This hotel is close to downtown Plymouth, which has a lot of stuff to do, and an effin' Indoor Theme Pool boasting a life-size replica of the Mayflower. I can’t believe this place is real. Their Plymouth Rock is way bigger than the actual one.

Slightly less expensive is the Comfort Inn in Plymouth, which is a little further out. We did end up reserving a block for Thursday and Friday night just in case, but right now you might be able to find cheaper rates through Hotels.com than the one they quoted us, which is $150 a night (plus 11.7% tax). If you are thinking of staying a few extra days I suggest you book ASAP because they say Saturday is already close to being booked up entirely. Breakfast and wifi is included, there's an indoor pool, etc. All this good stuff can be found on the website.

If either of these blocks fills up—let us know. There's a chance we can get more rooms added.

Members of the Lomakin family have graciously offered to house anyone who is unable to find accommodation, so please let us know if you are interested.

We have also had decent experiences with AirBnB.

And we can tell you don’t book the Inn at Plymouth Bay/Plymouth Bay Inn & Suites. It is very close to the venue, but our contact there warned us against it.

There are many other hotels in the area, as well as closer to Boston, if you prefer to see the city. I'd suggest checking the Bed Bug Registry first, but keep in mind some of the reports may be resolved or fraudulent.
